I’ve recently been recruited as a full-time lecture on the advertising degree programmes at London College of Communications (University of the Arts London). As part of the Boot Week of activities they run at the beginning of every year, I have been organising lectures by Mediacom Beyond Advertising’s UK Managing Partner Tom Curtis, and Andy Peel and Charlotte Khushi from the Young Creative Council.
I’m also hosting a panel on early evening of Wednesday 5th October that will be looking at how the collision of the entertainment and ad industries is redefining the media landscape. The following panel will by kindly moderated by Katie Deighton at The Drum:

Panelists will be discussing where the Branded Entertainment ‘industry’ is at and heading, and what work think is great and why.
There will also be a Screening of great/best examples of Branded Content and Entertainment recommended by panel and curated by BOBCM with work kindly supplied by RSA, The Director’s Bureau, Little Dot Studios, Curious Films and more.
The hope is to make this the first of a series of events that will be run three times a year in London and once a year in New York, i.e. now that I am full-time academic and have venue to host them.
