OkCupid has a great thing going. With access to lots of interesting data, they are in the positon to write about a topic that interests us all: the adventures and perils of romance, in a relevant and data informed way.
Their dating dictionary, part of the blog’s great Medium channel, has some terms that are a little cheeky, but that’s a good thing for the type of brand they are and they industry they play in. The descriptions feel very personal. You can learn, laugh and cry at the same time and it’s not easy for a brand to achieve that.
